Sir & Madame debuted PF Flyers new collection at their Hyde Park store Friday and kicked off the weekend in style. DJ Jay Illa spun some Kanye West and Heineken had beer on hand while attendees mingled with Stack Aly and Ouigi of the Brooklyn Circus. We were there as well, always supporting our favorite Chicago power couple – Autumn and Brian Merritt. Check out photos from the event below, Ouigi Theodore talking about PF Flyers, and shop Sir & Madame here.
Lollapalooza – my favorite summer fashion show – hits Grant Park this weekend. For the past two years, we’ve brought you the top summer trends to rock during Chicago’s biggest music fest, and this year is no different. Follow the guidelines below and there’s a good chance you’ll make the Best Dressed list of a fashion blog or two 😉
1. Bathing suits are fair game.
Swimsuit: Stampd LA; shorts: Levis; sunglasses: thrift store; purse: Steve Madden
The best weekend of the year is FOUR days away. On Friday, Grant Park will be transformed into a giant music venue as fans and artists will fly in from all over the world for Lollapalooza. With over 160,000 people estimated to be in attendance, there are bound to be some serious people watching opportunities. As you’re creating your custom Lolla schedules and RSVP-ing to the best Lolla after-parties this week, we’re here to help make sure you also look your best this weekend both at the fest and at the after-parties (in case you run into Frank Ocean at Buckingham Fountain on Saturday night).

A little while ago, Michael and I visited Sir & Madame, a boutique in Ukranian Village featuring fresh fashion and accessories reminiscent of Chicago style.
Owned by young couple Autumn and Brian, Sir & Madame can be described as a juxtaposition of sorts- the look of the store is old- antique dressers dot the walls and rich red drapes line the windows, yet the energy in the store is young. Sleek clothes in vibrant fabrics and edgy yet practical accessories are displayed throughout the room.
