Sir & Madame debuted PF Flyers new collection at their Hyde Park store Friday and kicked off the weekend in style. DJ Jay Illa spun some Kanye West and Heineken had beer on hand while attendees mingled with Stack Aly and Ouigi of the Brooklyn Circus. We were there as well, always supporting our favorite Chicago power couple – Autumn and Brian Merritt. Check out photos from the event below, Ouigi Theodore talking about PF Flyers, and shop Sir & Madame here.

Chvrches at the Metro
Fresh off of a sold out performance at Lincoln Hall the night before, Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook, and Martin Doherty, who make up the Scottish band Chvrches, performed at a sold out Metro Wednesday night. If you’ve been an ACITM follower, you know we are absolutely crazy about these guys. The band played most of their much anticipated debut album, The Bones of What You Believe, which is set to release on September 24.
Check out photos from the show below, and hit the jump for a mini review/setlist of the performance.

Pygmalion Roundup: Willis Earl Beal, Dinosaur Jr, Cloud Nothings, Grizzly Bear, Big Freedia and the Divas (Reviews/Pictures)
The best weekend of the year in Champaign-Urbana wrapped up Saturday night, and left bands like Grizzly Bear and Dirty Projectors marveling at the line-up founder Seth Fein was able to produce. We were there for it all, traveling between Krannert Art Museum, Canopy Club, downtown Urbana outside of Black Dog, and downtown Champaign behind the High Dive. So without further ado, here’s the third part of the four part ACITM Pygmalion Roundup (the Pyggy crown will be the finale coming this Wednesday), highlighting Saturday’s shows in downtown Champaign at the High Dive outdoor annex and late night inside the High Dive.

Wavefront 2012 Wrap Up (Pictures + Video)
Arguably the party of the summer tore through Montrose Beach this weekend as part of the inaugural Wavefront Beachside Music Festival. World renowned names such as Duck Sauce, Boys Noize, Erick Morillo, and Eric Prydz graced the stage and took the Chicago crowd weaving through blistering techno, crunchy electro, and classic Chicago house tracks. Armed with disposable cameras and a cell phone, I attended both days and was blown away.
Pictures and more after the jump!
