Ever since catching him with Trey Songz on the OOVOO Chapter 5 World Tour, I can’t get enough of Miguel. His Grammy performance only strengthened my belief that this guy is destined to be the future of r&b. He released the video to “Candles in the Sun” today. A bit different than his hit “Adorn,” the song steps away from “love song” and is a more introspective piece looking at the world at large. Here’s what he had to say about it… “It’s so easy to ignore what’s right in front of us sometimes… I wanted to create a song and visual that addressed my everyday concerns of life as I know it in the world that we live in.”

Following his performance with Hov at the Grammys, JT released the second single off his upcoming 20/20 Experience album, “Mirrors.” Check it out below, and if you missed the “Suit & Tie/Pusher Love Girl” Grammy performance, hit the jump to watch it in full. If there were any remaining questions if Justin Timberlake still had it… well, they’ve been answered. Enjoy!
The Alabama Shakes were in town last month with friends Doc Dailey and The Pollies to perform their American Family Insurance-sponsored Dream Show at the Subterranean. Footage from their performances as well as interviews with the bands about how they are living their dream were captured at the show by Buzzmedia and wrapped into four videos: “Dream Show,” “A Family Affair,” “Hand Picked” and “Dreams Come True.” If you haven’t seen the Alabama Shakes live yet, the videos give a glimpse of how passionate lead singer Brittany Howard is about her craft during every performance. The videos are sweet- check them out below!
