James Blake – Life Round Here (Remix) feat. Chance the Rapper

We officially have the visuals for the Chance the Rapper remix of James Blake’s hit, “Life Round Here.” The video features the two driving around in a drop top on a rainy day in the forest. Great song, and it’s absolutely awesome that these two are friends. Hopefully more music on the way.

James Blake – Life Round Here (ft. Chance the Rapper)

James Blake released a remix of one of the standout tracks from Overgrown, “Life Round Here,” on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show today, featuring a verse from Chicago’s very own, Chance the Rapper. Blake is revered in the hip hop community, with the RZA appearing on his album and alleged production ties on Drake’s Nothing Was the Same. Check out the song below!

James Blake released the first track from his upcoming album, Overgrown, yesterday on BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe. Overgrown hits stores April 8th, and if “Retrograde” is any indication, it’ll be even better than the self titled James Blake. Stream the track below, and let us know what you think.

Pitchfork Day One: Curren$y, Das Racist, and James Blake

Pitchfork Music Festival had its 7 year anniversary (Comin’ for you Lolla) this past weekend in Union Park, and like in past years, the carefully selected lineup did not disappoint. With three day passes selling out in a little over an hour, I showed up to the fest Friday to see a bunch of hipsters already in full concert mode.
