You can purchase the album here. Read on to learn about the inspiration for the album, the band’s most awkward comparison as well as their favorite spot in Chicago.

Week that Was (2-7-13 to 2-13-13)

Hope everyone had a great week, we’ve really been doing our best trying to keep everyone updated on the important music news over the week. For this week’s “Week that Was” we lead off with Lorde, who in her Facebook About Me describes herself as our “favorite little head game.” Perfect. Her music draws you in and keeps you smiling and bobbing your head until the end. Later on we have 2 bands from Chicago, Young Man and Houses, and fellow midwest-ers The ACBs, from Kansas City, Missouri. Enjoy and let us know what stands out! Keep sending music to acityinthemidwest@gmail.com.
