The surprising headliner for this years Pygmalion has been all over the globe in the past year. Undoubtedly one of the biggest electronic acts in the world right now, Major Lazer, made up of Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire, came to Champaign’s Pygmalion Festival on the heels of the twerking craze, something the trio are considered kings of. Fresh off of a sold out performance at Lincoln Hall the night before, Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook, and Martin Doherty, who make up the Scottish band Chvrches, performed at a sold out Metro Wednesday night. If you’ve been an ACITM follower, you know we are absolutely crazy about these guys. The band played most of their much anticipated debut album, The Bones of What You Believe, which is set to release on September 24.
