Santa has come and gone, you got your midnight kiss, and now you’re left to face the painful reality of winter: cold walks to work, sweaty El rides, coat checks, lost mittens, empty bars, and too many trips to your local Redbox. Fortunately for Chicagoans, there’s this new outfit called The Numbered Days, where your pain is their inspiration. To ease the post-holiday humdrums and give you a night to remember, the young but experienced party hosts are throwing their second annual Loft Party on January 26 at Stan Mansion in Logan Square.
Recently chosen as the 2012 “Best Party of the Year” by Huffington Post Chicago, the Loft Party brings that special something that you just don’t get from your average night out. As thefounders put it, “If your average Saturday night met this Saturday night, they wouldn’t be friends.”
Last year’s sell-out event brought together hundreds of like-minded, curious and outgoing party goers, complete with top local DJs, dancing, new connections and cheap but stiff drinks. This year’s party promises to give you even more reasons to make the trek to Logan Square. Local beat maker Kody Madro is joining the star trio of Superfriends, a lifesize paint-by-numbers board makes an appearance, and other engaging surprises will keep the party going. By the end of the night, no one will be a stranger. Come early and drink free from 9-10pm, courtesy of your friends at Revolution Brewing.
