Our favorite band from Northampton is back in Chicago, opening for White Arrows and Family of the Year this Friday, October 12th, at the Empty Bottle. We had a chance to cover the band back in March and they were great. Frontman Tom Stubbs never stops dancing, moving all over the stage getting down to the bands infectious melodies. If you make it out to the Empty Bottle to catch these guys, you won’t be disappointed. Especially since tickets are only $8!
You can purchase tickets for the show here.
The band is touring in support of their latest album Winterhead, which came out in April. A video for their second single, “Bite Your Lip” can be seen below.
“We shot the video for the single in an abandoned power station in Austin, in about two hours after a week of madness at SxSW, before jumping in our van and hitting the road with We Were Promised Jetpacks. We worked with a great director, Joe Arcidiacono, that MTV brought in, who really captured some of the live energy we hoped would represent the band more than just a storyline video….that and we can’t act for toffee. If we look like it’s 10AM after no sleep and one too many Colas, that’s because it was,” Stubbs told Artist Direct.
