The VH1 You Oughta Know tour featuring Ed Sheeran, Passenger and Selah Sue hit Chicago last Tuesday and could be described as a European invasion on the Windy City. 99% of the audience at the sold out Riviera Theatre was composed of girls anxious to see British artist Ed Sheeran on his first North American tour. Ed Sheeran’s set later proved the excitement for the artist was justified, while Selah Sue’s performance showed that she has headliner potential herself.

Kids These Days “Don’t Harsh My Mellow” (New Video)
Everything Kids These Days touch turns gold, and it’s the same with their latest track and first single off Trap House Rock, “Don’t Harsh My Mellow.” Not to mention it’s Austin Vesely directed, and what has he ever released that you didn’t love?
We’ve heard the song live a number of times, but the proper version is just as good. The same bone tingling, make you check over your shoulder, make you go wild when the hook drops vibe. Check out the video below and let us know what you think. KTD takeover!
Video of the Week: Big Black Delta “Betamax”
Big Black Delta recently released a video for their latest single “Betamax.” The song is the second single from an upcoming album set for release in early 2013. I love super simple videos with a bunch of colors, and this is just that. Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
Hailing from LA, the trio is fronted by former Mellowdrone member and M83 touring musician Jonathan Bates. Big Black Delta’s explosive live show features dueling drummers and an orchestrated light show, checking them out is highly recommended.

Crystal Castles “Wrath of God”
Crystal Castles just dropped a new song via their Facebook page from their upcoming album out November 5th, and it’s quite the tune. What do you think of it? Stream and download below.
Kembe X feat. Monster Mike “Soul Fever” (Download + Stream)
One of our favorite up and coming artists, Kembe X, just released this new track and it’s a banger. This kid’s future is through the roof. Monster Mike (the dude with a rap genius tattoo) also throws down a dope verse. Download and stream below, let us know what you think!
Week that Was: Pygmalion Edition
This week’s “Week that Was” is a special Pygmalion edition, featuring only artists performing at the 3 day festival this weekend in Champaign-Urbana. Although Sleigh Bells withdrew from the lineup due to a Derek Miller injury, local CU heroes HUM step in for a rare performance for the opening night’s main event on Thursday, September 27th at the Canopy Club. Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, Best Coast, and Dinosaur Jr. are still scheduled to perform along with many, many more. The festival should be a blast, and tickets are still available here!
The post doubles as our top picks, so enjoy and let us know what you think!

Frank Ocean “Blue Whale” (Download + Stream)
A Frank Ocean rap track hit the acclaimed singer’s Tumblr tonight, and looks like he’s got some game.
Download and stream below.
“If I ever have a daughter, I wonder what I could call her/ Nine months after I f**k on the beach, I guess I call her karma.”
No Pets Allowed “We Are Never Ever Coming Home Again”
YE ON THE TRACK, T-SWIZZY ON THE BEAT, THIS WHAT THE WORLD BEEN WAITIN’ FOR!
In all seriousness though, I’ve never been a big fan of the mash-up, but I couldn’t pass this one up. Great song from No Pets Allowed linking two very different artists. Check it out and download below!
Frank Ocean – Pyramids (New Video)
Check out the new video for one of my favorites from Channel Orange, “Pyramids.” Awesome visuals from Nabil as we see the actor playing Frank making his way through strip clubs and the desert after taking shots of absinth. Even John Mayer makes a cameo with a solo towards the end. What do you think of the video? Let us know below!
