UIC’s Spark in the Park

UIC’s second annual Spark in the Park featured performances by Flosstradamus, Cool Kids and self-proclaimed “UIC alum” Lupe Fiasco.

Highlights of the night included an awesome set by Cool Kids and an almost two hour Lupe Fiasco show full of classics including “Daydreamin'” and “Hip Hop Saved My Life.” With a beautiful Chicago skyline as a backdrop, listening to Lupe Fiasco sing “I’m from a city in the midwest, best city in the whole wide wide world” during his performance of “Go Go Gadget Flow” was the most memorable part of the UIC festival.
