I took a quick trip to Paris this past weekend and stumbled upon Le Salon (Atelier Galerie). Located next door to Ed Banger Records (the labels of Justice and SebAstian, among others), Le Salon (Atelier Galerie) is the studio/gallery of Thomas Winter, brother of Pedro Winter/Busy P- French dj, producer, Ed Banger Records owner and former Daft Punk manager. An instagram photo posted by Ed Banger Records promoting a new exhibit drew us into the Parisian studio. On display at the intimate gallery was MałgośKa’s photo exhibit entitled “Absences…” in collaboration with LISA SAYS. The work, with an air of eeriness, showcased photographs of objects in low light. I enjoyed the exhibit and was lucky to catch up with the talented young artist Malgoska during the opening night of her showing.

VOTW: Pumped Up Kicks Dance Routine
I’m not one that’s particularly into the whole dubstep scene, but I got mad respect for people that dance really well. Sebastian’s Embody video is one of my favorite videos of all time, so I HAVE to give some love to Marquese “Nonstop” Scott, the dancer in this video. It’s the dubstep remix of Foster the People’s Pumped Up Kicks, and it literally looks like this dude is in space dancing. Gravity doesn’t apply to him. Check out below for ACITM’s video of the week….

Sebastian + Diplo @ The Congress Theater (NCMF After Show)
This wasn’t your typical concert. This wasn’t just some rave you hear about randomly through a string of text messages. The Mad Decent founder, Diplo, was in the house, the prince of Ed Banger, Sebastian, was also in the house, and this was the last weekend of the summer (for all of us young’ins). If you can’t get up for something like that, well, you can’t get up for anything.
