Milk Handmade – A Charming Chicago Boutique

Priding itself on carrying unique, handmade clothing and accessories, Milk Handmade is the product of owner and native Chicagoan Hallie Borden’s childhood dream. The new Andersonville store opening Tuesday is filled with pieces from local Chicago brands  including Mohop, Nicki Jean, Nicolet Candles. Video of the Week: Vic Mensa – Blazin

Kids These Days rapper Vic Mensa going in on a Blended Babies/Chuck Inglish produced track. Video produced by the very talented Austin Vesely. Fun to see “Blazin” take on more meanings than just smoking weed… big things ahead for him. If you’re in Champaign make sure to check out Kids These Days performing at Anniversary Plaza for Union Fest. 1401 Green St., expect the band to perform around 9:30 PM.

Spring Awakening Festival – Get Your Tickets Here!

Electronic music legends Benny Benassi, Afrojack, Wolfgang Gartner and the much loved/hated Skrillex will make their way to Chicago for a weekend of dance music on June 16th for The Spring Awakening Music Festival. The festival, taking place at the massive Soldier Field, will also feature Diplo and A-Trak- two dj’s that I especially can’t wait to see. Check back for a full preview of artists in a few weeks. In the meantime, be sure to get your tickets here.
